CHP Renewal Class – – October 28, 2025 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

At the Montrose Rod and Gun Club Indoor Range, 1211 6450 Rd, Montrose Co

Cost: $70 (Bring check or cash to class.  Checks made out to “Guardian Skills Academy”

What to Bring

• Hearing protection
• Eye protection
• Your firearm
• 75 rounds of ammunition
• At least 2 dummy rounds / snap caps

Course of Fire Summary (Short)

• Fundamentals: Grip, stance/position, sight alignment, trigger control.
• Target Transitions: Efficient and accurate shifts between targets while maintaining stability.
• Movement: Controlled adjustments while remaining accuracy.
• Reloads & Malfunctions: Safe reloads and immediate action drills using dummy rounds.
• One‑handed (Strong Hand): Practice for one‑handed to assess control and accuracy.
